Hello
I am trying to find my german great, great , great grandfather. I know he married in 1880 in liverpool. I can find no trace of him before 1880. His dad is on the marriage certificate as peter. Again can find no trace of peter.

I am told he was from hamburg. The name has been mispelt all over the place
eckle (1842) censsus
eckho(1891) cenussus
eckhos
echeho. (marriage certificate)

The only firm spelling is the one on the marriage certificate. anyone got access to any german records. Or can find him before his marriage in 1880???
