That is very intersting. Her death matches but i thought she was married to Christopher Pover b 1803 d 1889 unless i have that wrong |

I don't think you're wrong. You have electronic proof that a Christopher & Arabella Pover were living as man & wife in Weymouth in the censuses. Also that the Wyke Regis parish records have a Christopher Pover & an Arabella Elizabeth Hardy marrying. If anything I would think the Bishop's Transcripts or their transcriber may be in error. |

i noticed that christopher had jumped off the 1841 census. he was a sailor maybe he ws at sea at the time of census 1881 census shows him at weymouth union work house as a sailor pauper and died 1889 |

I think i got something wrong. Christopher and Thomas were in fact brothers and both coastguards. Ive traced Thomas and he was at Luddenham coastgaurd. married Elizabeth Cox. childrenwereElizabeth b 1828, martha b 1830, william b 1832, ann 1834 and married Walter Histed , Harriet b 1837 Thomas b 1839, Edwin b 1843 and Henry Edward b 1846. But now trying to trace Christopher Pover and parents of Christopher and Thomas |
