Hi Lorraine,
Thanks so much for the offer, it is much appreciated.
I believe this family emigrated around 1880 - 1882 I've found the husband in 1910 with two children and no wife although it states he was married, but I don't know what happened to his wife or the other children.
The emigrated to Pennsylvania USA
Cornelius Baker b 1850 Staffordshire Uk Lydia Baker b 1850 Wales, UK Sarah Baker b 1870 Wales UK Arthur Baker b 1872 Wales UK Mary A Baker b 1874 Wales UK Harriet B 1880 Sussex UK
In 1910 there are another two children, Edward and Bessie; both born Pennsylvania USA.
Anything you can find would be brilliant.
Thanks a lot, Regards, LOu

Many thanks Loraine, I appreciate your help, I am stumped as to how the whole family came from Shanghai to the UK in the first place though, however many of their Uncle's were captains, so if they came on board a relatives ship, would they be on a passenger list?
Thanks again
Vicki

Hello Loraine, I am pleased to see someone who does Canada look-ups. I have a problem. I have been told that one of my relations went to Canada, but I cannot find him. His name was Asa Robinson, born 1883, Tosside, Yorkshire, West Riding. I have been told that now deceased family members reeceived letters from Canada, from him. My wife would also like some information about her uncle, Frank Heselton (may be Hesleton) born 1886 Yorkshire West Riding who went to Canada after the First World War. He went share farming at Medicine Hat, Alberta and we would like to know his death date, think he died in the spring of 1950. Thanks, hoping you are able to help us. Bernard
