Hi Lorraine, The only marriage i could find in England for Henry Dunn was in 1900 to Kate Hodson ( Catherine ).So i can`t understand it now. They are also on the 1908 Ellis Site passenger list and living at 64 Blake St,Bloomfield,New Jersey. The address Arthur Gater went to was 55 Myrtle Street,Bloomfield. Carol Carol

Hi Lorraine, I have Arthur Gater on the 1901uk Census with his wife Beatrice. He went to America in 1910 according to the Ellis Island site, prior to that had lived in America for 15 years,so must have been before 1901. As i can account for him after that.. There is no Birth for him in Birmingham,so i don`t know who is siblings were or his mother. I know his father was Frederick and a plumber through Arthur`s marriage certificate. A witness on marriage certificate in 1898 was Ada Gater whether sibling i don`t know. One of his sister`s must have lived in America but who she is i don`t know. Arthur`s Brother-in-law name i am not sure .on the passenger list in 1910 it is not very clear ,it could be H,Dunn,H,Driver or H,Quinn he lived at 55 Mrytle Street,Bloomfied,New Jersey. I know it is very complicated, that is why i am struggling with it. carol

The last census I have Henry Moore is the 1891 living with his parents and siblings. His parents are Henry and Margaret nee Stewart. I have not been able to find a marriage or death for him in Scotland. His d.o.b. is 1860 in Hutchesenton, Glasgow. Many thanks jean SORRY THAT SHOULD BE THE 1881 CENSUS. 1st one looks quite promising , don't think the 2nd one is mine

Hi Lorraine, I am looking for a probable Birth of Arthur Gater born abt 1878. He was on the 1901 English Census in Birmingham which says he was born in Birmingham.I cannot find a Birth for him or his family. Arthur`s father was Frederick a Plumber but i can`t find him. So i thought maybe they were born in America. I found Arthur on the Ellis Island site in 1910 going to see his Brother- in-law at 55 Myrtle Street , Bloomfield,New Jersey. It also says Arthur lived there prior to 1910 for 15 years that is why i think Arthur may heve been born there. If you can help i would be very grateful. Thankyou Carol
