Lorraine - I am trying to find out what happen to Charles Gaze born on 13 October 1850 in Clapham, he moved to Liverpool and became a seaman, the last record that fits him is in the 1900 USA census, where is an out of work cook/seaman at Heron St. Coasting Sch. Aberdeen, Chehalis, Washington. I would love to find a date of death for him, or what happened to him. Many thanks. Michael Gaze.

canadian records are not so easy to search there are very few after 1939 do you recoginise the aunts name he went to visit in usa, if she was his aunt she was probably his mother or fathers sister.
the census I found in usa with a vincent married to a myrtle does that look likely?

Hi Lorraine
Wow !!
Thank you so much-what a surprise-I thought the Debrusks were Polish !
The only info on Margaret Marshall I have is that her parents were Thomas Marshall and Margaret Swan (got that from Ancestry World Wide Trees !) but no dates-I assume she would have been born about the same time as her husband c 1900 She died in the 1980s I think I think she was of Scottish descent
Where would Immigrants have entered Canada in the 1800s-would it be Montreal ?
I would be grateful for any additional info you can find !
Cheers Elizabeth

Hi Lorraine, hope the hangover is better! I am trying to find out about David and Agnes Martin who emigrated to Canada. Agnes travelled with son James Henry Martin aged 16 months and arrived Quebec 20th May 1921 aboard the ship Canada. I know that David travelled out ahead of her but cannot find anything to tell me when. Davids father also named James Henry Martin travelled to Canada arriving 18th August 1920 in Quebec. David and Agnes second son (David) was born in Toronto c1923. Eldest son was a victim of Knights of Columbus hostel fire in 1942, and is buried Mount Pleasant cemetery, Newfoundland. Would like to find out anything about both Davids if possible. Many thanks in advance.
