Hi Lorraine, Many thanks for your help in trying to find info on Charles Gaffney. I don't know of a middle name or initial but do know that both parents, namely James Gaffney and Mary Farrell, were born in Cavan, Ireland. Perhaps he died or moved to another State before the 1910 Census was taken. I appreciate very much the time and effort you spent trying to help me. Best regards, Vinny.

Got this from a Tribal pages search
DOROTHY DECARLO 1896, Dec 22 1982, Jan Los Angeles, CA
it says its from the DMF (Death Master File) file from the Social Security Administration (SSA) hoping it is the right Dorothy as know she went to live in LA, is it possible to get any further info from it especially her maiden name, hoping it will be either Martyn or Williams, got the name from my mums address book but cant find where she fits in.

Hi Lorraine - back again!!
Could you see if you can find me an outgoing from UK to somewhere/anywhere for
Gallant, Isaac British Subject German Born c 1845 - occ = Tailor Gallant, Rebecca British Subject German born c.1849
AFTER 1881 - they where in UK for 1881 census. They probably would have had at least 3 children with them - but if they where just going on a quick turn around the children may have stayed in UK with relatives.
I will pm you again with me email addy for the post on 3rd sept. where Jack Gallant (son of above aka Jacob) was deported from US to UK - went on quick visit only for copy of image.
Am having real trouble picking them up again so possibly they did go to US to relatives (as we know from your previous search there is rellies in US) or possibly they went back to Germany..
Any assistance most gratefully received.
Kind regards
Carol
PS Is it possible you can find an incoming prior to 1874 for them - there would have been no children with them as the first child was born in UK. They definately came from Germany but whether via anywhere else is anyone's guess.
Sorry this is an awful lot to ask for - my preference would be the outgoing after 1881 if the rest is too much.
Many thanks again.

Hi Lorraine
I'm not sure if you can be of any help on this one but here goes.
William Wyatt and Annie Thewles(sp) had a daughter Hester Annie Wyatt born c1862/65.She was in Liverpool 1871 census but she may have been born on a ship. William was a captain/ship owner of a clipper ship, which went down off Cape Horn where he and crew all died. No idea when though. As far as I know william was from Boston Mas I have no idea of the ages of William or Annie.
Not a lot to go on but any help in finding out more about william would be great. Thanks very much for any help and I would understand if it is not enough to go on.

Lorraine, they were both born in the U.K. -not sure about William but Annie was born in N.Ireland 1889. Their son was born in Shawnigan Falls,Montreal, and thats all I know unfortunately. Annie was the daughter of a Congregational Church Minister so it would probably be a civil marriage.
hope this helps. Brian
