Gallant, Jacob aka Jack aka John b 1874c UK - sorry he went by the three first names.

Went to US (New York) in 1912? and was supposedly deported 1912/1913.

Would deportation records be different or would he just show on a passenger listing?

Could you possibly look up the details of a Canada to US border crossing by the following relatives: Peter Christian, his wife Flora and their children - Alberta/Agnes, Henry Aldworth and Stewart. Also Peter's brother, Alfred Emmanuel Christian his wife Lily and possibly their sons John Dennis and Reginald Aldworth. I am not certain of the dates, although I think that Peter's family were still in Canada at the time of the 1911 census, although I have no details on that.

Hi lorraine , I wonder if you could possibly help me my fathers uncle was deported as a child to Canada we did not know all the details until i got a copy of the paperwork.His parents where in hospital and the 4 children where being looked after by the catholic church ,When the got out of hospital 3 children came home but the eldest had been sent to a childrens home in London. his father wrote to get him home but the day after the letter arrived at the childrens home he was put on to the boat to Canada his record show patrick m gallagher born dec1890 arrived in Canada 1905Quebec chambly and vercheres in 1911 census he lives atbeloeil station distict 150 sub 17. He then enlists ww1 age 25 in Letherbridge 4 July 1916 and thats where the trail goes cold so any info would be great thanks tricia liverpool uk

Ellis Island as sailing from Queenstown,Ireland on 30/10/1907 on the
SS Campania. It says that he was returning to the US, having lived there
for 9 years. His address was given as 300 W 48 St.,New York.
