Am gradually getting places with my Moore search. Think I have established that John c1853 was son of Thomas c1821 and Elizabeth Stratton marriage Edmonton 1837 (surname incorrect as StrUtton). John was born in White Hart Yard, Edmonton. Still have no idea of whether he had any siblings - or where Thomas and Elizabeth were born - possibly Ireland . Just to add that John was married to Ellen Murphy (or so it said on all their childrens birth certificates but no marriage can be found until dec 1914 - johns father thomas master balcksmith ellens father james, master carpenter and wheelwright. if the thomas/elizabeth marriage right - john has siblings thomas/henry/elizabeth/emily 1851Cens. |
