Tha baptism on 4th December definitely gives the names William John

The following is what I put on an Ancestry page on Facebook yesterday, and a couple of the admins came up with results tying in with what Mel fairy godmother posted (thank you by the way).

This is what I posted on Facebook...

I'm trying to find the date of birth and place of birth of William John Brooker C1852. I have his marriage certificate when he was married to Emma Wallace in Upper Norwood, Surrey on 16/04/1876 (his dad noted as being William John Brooker also with a 'Smith' profession. The William John Brooker I am seeking died on 25/10/1880, C.O.D was Pulmonary Tuberculosis. He was buried in Ladywell Cemetery on 01/11/1880, grave number G2599. As I live a good distance away, I can't manage to pay a visit to the cemetery to seek birth details on the headstone. Can anyone help please?

They came up with details of his father's occupation being a whitesmith on the baptism record. William John's birth being 04/09/1854 St. Martin, Dorking (Martin Place)? Apparently, W.J was baptised in 1857 along with his sister Mary Jane Brooker who was born 06/06/1857.

Also marriage details pertaining to the parents being Susannah Bivand and William Brooker in the Jan 1/4 of 1847.

William Charles Brooker also pops up with mother's maiden name as being Bivand.

I just need to try and piece together the info and figure out how correct it is or not before I add it to my tree.

confused and some things like...

1/ on his death cert it mentioned him dying at age 28 on 25/10/1880, this would give approx. year of birth as 1852 which is what I've been searching give or take 1 year ... for years.

just about at the end of my tether!

I've been searching for what seems eons, for the birth details of William John Brooker, born 1851/2.

He was married to Emma Wallace on 16th april 1876 in a part of Norwood, surrey. He died at the age of 28 years old, on the 25th october 1880 with the named address of 15 fir street, lewisham, (sub district of Sydenham in the county of kent).

He was a gas fitter. his father was also called william john brooker who was a smith by proffession.

as far as i know, he had 3 children.
william edward brooker, born 10th december 1876.
James charles brooker, born 4th may 1879.
and George brooker, born 1881, i think between 4th april and sometime in august 1881. as i cannot find details of him before that time. but he was 19years old at the time of the 1901 census.
his mother emma wallace was pregnant at time of death of william john brooker who died in 1880.

William Edward was my gr gr grandad.

any information to help me progress would be greatly appreciated.
