Hi T, Greetings - I would respectfully appreciate your help.
My (4 X) Great Grandfather was JAMES RILEY born 1801 at Wigan and married ABIGAIL BAMBER at Chifley Lancashire. in 1821. Abigail was born in 1801 at Wigan.

The father of JAMES RILEY was THOMAS RILEY whom I think was born in 1782 at St John Preston and married MARGARET GARNER on 5 June 1801 at Huyton Roby Lancs. Margaret Garner was born in 1780 at Huyton Roby Lancashire.

ANOTHER SOURCE says that THOMAS RILEY was born in 1770 and married MARGARET JOHNWOOD who was born at Chorley Wigan Lancashire.


I am also seeking the details of the parents and grandparents
of JAMES BAMBER, born at Wigan about 1761. He married MARY LONGWORTH who was born at Westhoughton Lancs about 1765. They were married at Wigan on 31 January 1786

I was wondering if you could help me find my ancestors: George Keyte Thompson married Frances Ellen Olliffe. I have no birthdates or marriage date. Their son Charles Keyte Thompson was born in Sydney approx 1862. George was a Master Mariner. I know they both had died prior to 1902. Again I do not know where?

Do you have access to any of the records for the somerset area i am trying to find the marraige of a JOHN HAYNES dob approx1796 and a MARIE ? approx 1800 John was from the FROME area and MARIE from WILTON in WILTSHIRE thanks

Many thanks for your kind offer, I am looking for the marriage abt 1815 between John DIGBY and Catherine LANDERS.

John was an essex boy so I am assuming it may be in Essex but then again a lot gravitated down to London & surrounds.

I have all the information on the family from 1821 Braintree Essex Census onwards but their marriage still eludes me.
