Please look at my tree WayneTracey and you will see that I must be right, I think it would be obvious, but I don't know whether I want my No.1 to be related to you, you seem to be a bossy cow, and that other one whose name I can't see too, is there another page or something.

Cynthia how do you know my age, can you see my family tree, did you hack into it, I have got messages from people saying you are well known for sending rude messages to new users and scaring them away from this site, are you related to the Smiths, if you aren't you should stay away from my thread, nobody asked you did they.

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 24 Jun 2010 22:17

Oh yeah, if you go back a page you'll understand fully what we are going on about.... otherwise you'll just end up making silly comments for a little while.

Now then who you calling a bossy c*w miss??? you the one demanding to know if we're related....

I'm not sure i want to be related to you now....but i might just send you 4 completely pointless pm's and have a go where no-one can see me!!!

I'd really appreciate it if you could open your tree it would be sooooo cool being related to you......

Now if you could possibly remove your email address and replace it with your mobile phone number i'd appreciate it.

what's a pm and how do I find my mobile phone number, I use it to send messsages like this

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 24 Jun 2010 22:23

You need to get to the compact disk bit and then stare at the screen for a while.

Then if you goto your keyboard and click F11 half the things on your screen will disappear and you'll not need to worry about pm'ing me anymore because you'll be trying to work out what the flying F you've gone and done...

Dear Miss Canuck. I can tell your age by the faltering way in which you typed your message.

No, I cannot see your tree because of all the Woods in it and also because it seems to have a severe case of Dutch Elm disease.

None of the helpers on this site are related to you, for which they are truly grateful.

I cannot guarantee to stay away from your thread as I would not wish you to miss out on any trivial information found for you.

No one has asked me to help you, I simply do it out of my warm, caring and sympathetic nature, so do not push your luck or you may miss out on something interesting, which would be so unlike you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are stuck and I will do all I can to keep you at arm's length.

Thanking you in anticipation of a load of..........

I am afraid that I will not be able to help you for a while as I am in a different time zone. When you are sleeping I am working and when I am working you are sleeping so I know that I won't be able to help you. Living where I do means that all the help is based where you are.

Apart from that, my computer is prone to breaking down and cracking up. My household has the plague, many of my relations are dead and I forgot that I have posted on here anyway.

goodnight.

JaneyCanuck Report 24 Jun 2010 23:58

Well I have toothache.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 25 Jun 2010 08:44

Unfortunate as that may be, I am afraid that having toothache is no excuse for not reading the FAQs as to how this site works.

There are helpers who are sitting here waiting to help you, day and night; they will reply as soon as you have dotted the last 'i' and crossed the last 't' in your request. Some will even reply before you have finished asking the question.

If you read the FAQs - having first found them of course - you will see that you need to click on the My Threads button which is on the left hand side of your screen. This will lead you back to the query you posted. If you don't know how to use that button, then I fail to understand how you are reading this.

Unfortunately, you have answered a post which was 70 years old and so, of course, the original poster may not be checking for replies any longer.

I notice that your search includes the name Hill. There are 428553 trees with that name on this site. You can click on each of the owners names to see if you have a connection.

I do so hope that my helpful guidelines do not give you spots before your eyes.

Kindest regards.

Errrrr, i am the original poster.... i've checked for a reply, now what do i do?

Are you telling me it's not a Haystack i'm looking for but a Hayhill??

Oh i'm so confused, you people are paid by Genes to help us and your all not very good at it!

I think i might want my money back,......... if only i knew how to get to that page on here..........

Dear WayneTracey,

I am so pleased that you have looked for a reply as many people don't know how to use this site whilst you have obviously made an effort to grapple with its complexities.

As for your Haystack/Hayhill family, please be patient with the helpers as they battle valiantly to find them. There are many mistranscriptions in the records and the family well have been mistranscribed to Hayho.

Please remember that the people who are trying to help you [but failing miserably], are not employed by Genes R. but they jolly well should be. They simply undertake to help their fellow members because they are moved by compassion and curiosity.

Many are willing to dig deep into their own resources to come up with information which will prove to be nonsensical to you but is of great importance to the bigger picture.

Dear Ginny, I am sorry, but this is a genealogy site where we search diligently for either living or dead people. We do not undertake the research involved in missing hairdryers. In an effort to be helpful, may I suggest that you tidy your room and then you may be able to find the missing object.

Dear Zoe,

Is this part of the family you seek?

1. Homer MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Louisiana
Other Gender: Male Birth: LA

2. Bird MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Georgia
Self Gender: Male Birth: GA

3. Cherry MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Georgia
Wife Gender: Female Birth: GA

4. Henry MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Georgia
Son Gender: Male Birth: GA

5. Sarah MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Georgia
Dau Gender: Female Birth: GA

6. Robert MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Georgia
Son Gender: Male Birth: GA

7. John MOCKING - 1880 United States Census / Georgia
Son Gender: Male Birth: GA

If you investigate a little further, you may find that the Mocking family married into the Bird family at some stage.

I look forward to hearing if you understand what this is all about.

Kind regards.

Dear Cynthia.
Thank you so much for the lead on Adam Conker 1846,I have now been able to get my tree back to William The Conker in 1066.

As Conker is another name for chestnut, Tracey and I may be related ... just wondering if you have made any headway in finding any relatives to your specs yet Tracey?
