you can have one of the Jones sections of my tree if you like (I have 2 separate ones - one Welsh, 1 Liverpool) they are just as easy to find as Mr Eedle. Actually the welsh one is not too bad - Mr Jones, a Butcher living in the Butchers Arms (actually true!) |

Freebmd marriages Dec 1844 William Hay married Harriott Hay could be Tracey's lost shortened surname and could be connected to Fanny's Miss Leaf. I wonder if there are any Fig Leafs out there |

I was told that Mr Wood started his romance in the early spring with Miss Leaf, they were reportedly well and truly married by late spring, but in the early autumn of that year the romance began to shrivel and they parted company in the late autumn. |

WayneTracey I think my No.1's great-grandmother may be the illegitimate daughter of your Mr Eedle, her name was Jane or Mary Smith, she came from the same part of England and she was born in the 1800s and there is no father's name on her birth certificate, or that's what his cousin's wife says, she said she had a copy of it, so I feel sure it must be the same person, please would you email me at [email protected] |
