Might this help at all - Agnes Ellen married Albert Bosher in Chorley. They had two sons (cousins to Eva and Dorothy) The sons were called Arthur and Frank born c. 1924 and 1923 |

William and Francis's daughters were Dorothy and Eva. Both were born in Chorley and Dorothy being the eldest was probably born c. 1925 and Eva a couple of years later. Hope this helps |

On the 1891 census they are living in Daubers Lane !! |

Guess this is wrong family as I know for sure that Agnes Ellen (known as Nellie) was born in 1894. I think her brother, William, was a little bit older than her but not 100% sure. I also think they lived in Dawbers Lane, Euxton when they were young but again not certain. |

You didn't say William had two daughters. If we can find their births we can find maiden name of his wife. What were their names and where were they born, and when (roughly)? |

William and Francis had two daughters, one called Eva who was born c. 1926. This is what makes me thinks that William was only married once but looking back at your comments maybe he was married for a short while before marrying Francis |

It was Ann (his maybe wife) who was living in Leyland. His address on enlistment was Wigan Road, Euxton. Perhaps she stayed with her parents while William was away ...... |

As far as I know they never lived in Leyland, Infact William lived with his parents when he married Francis. Agnes Ellen had lived at the family home until her marriage and then moved into house across the road. The house was in Chorley |
