A huge huge ask-but if anyone is going anytime in the near future and they have a little time left-just wondered if anyone could find out anything about Henry Charles Howard Strong born in Devon 1836 for me. I know in 1870 he was in Allahabad with the 107th Regiment of foot as a comissariat (later Bengal light infantry)-with his wife Winifred who he married abroad. his son William Henry John was born in Dec 1870. he married Winfred in 1867 Kussowlie,east indies so was definitely abroad from 1867- 1873 (son Henry C H Strong born in Gwalior). By 1876 he was back in Devon-as I have baptisms of twins of his. in 1879 he is still in England so it is the period of 1867-1875 that I am really interested in. |
