Thanks Dea of course now its spelt differently i have heard of it.

Maybe a breakthrough,

just had an email from my half brother.He seems to remember John Hogan had a brother Daniel !! Last known living in Dormanstown bit vauge about when he died maybe late 50s - early 70s will see what i can find tomorrow. Not going to get too excited though( yet !!!)

hi, my last 2 messages have disappered !!
i have gone through every Hogan death from 59 - 73 and only found 3 Daniels . Still waiting for a reply to my email to see if its known if he was the elder or younger bother.

thomas is the father in that one susan,there can't be many left

Daniel poss the younger brother . He had 2 daughters born around 1933 & 38 so going to look for them to see where he was living . Thats all info given i'm afraid.

Well that didn't really work. Found 2 Doreens and 6 Jeans but each one had a different mothers name !!!
Looked for Hogan marriages 1924 - 32 none match any of the mothers names . Oh dear

My goodness Dea !!! you have worked hard ,thank you for doing this.

I gave up looking for the marriage details at 1932 as that was when the first daughter was born BUT on the possible birth details for 2nd daughter there is one with mother Nettleton. District Cleveland Yeah !!!I was wondering if sending for that marriage cert would be of any help??
