Richard W Cooley b 1884 has world war one papers he was in the labour core. He lost a toe due to frost bite.

His marraige is listed as 3 Jan 1909, two children John Edward 19.5.1911 and James 21.7.1913, Eleanor is at the bottom 22 June 1901 not noted as daughter or sister, unfortunately no places of birth.

Has anybody got any fresh idea's on this one. I have found out that her Nan and Grandad did come from Ireland, so i am wondering if she was born in Ireland ? This one is doing my head in any help PLEASE

hi no prob rootgatherer all help needed no eleanor and james never did divorce as he would never give her one because of the way she was but that dont mean that she did not get married again my dad's dad her husband james alexander king died on 23/05/1972 in romford and the name eleanor does appear in the family one of her dads brother's also called his daughter eleanor

ok thanks i am pretty sure james has a middle name which is richard and i think he was babtised on 27/04/1887 married in mile end on 25/12/1910 and died in lambeth on 30/06/1955 this family is such a mystery
