Hi, I have family who lived in Goring, Oxfordshire in the early 20th century: They were Jasper & Jane Penny plus at least four of their children: Jasper jnr, with his wife and their children, Thomas Herbert Leonard (plus his 3 children), Robert (who doesn't seem to have married) and Lilian (also unmarried).

When I was following Herbert's children down and looking for their children I came across a Doris Penny, mother's maiden name Stratton, born in the same area.

The Pennys tend to be clustered in Somerset so it set me wondering if Doris had any connection to my family.

I've followed the usual lines of enquiry without success. has anyone any suggestions please?
