Trying to trace back from John Tobin he was born in (I believe) Cork, Ireland in around 1826, he was a farm labourer, he married Mary (born c1831). They moved to Aberavon, Glamorgan, South wales, where they had their children including James, Margaret, Mary, Ellen & Catherine. I am not sure how to pursue the Irish connection here so any help/advice would be most welcomed.
