m trying to find anyone connected to sarah hunter mckay she kept her maiden name,she was my grandmother.she married alexander mckay in the 1800.s dont know exact datenear the end of the 1800,s i think she had 2 son,s my father john alexander mckay born oct 14th 1921 and his younger brother robert hunter mckay born18th nov 1923 both deceased.robert married a girl called agnes she borne him 7 children,they are marion roy terence,dennis linda walter and sandra .my father was brought up in the gorbals area in glasgow,he joined the raf and met and married my mother winifred foulkes in birkenhead on the 5 may during the war .i,m having trouble finding their marriage certificate ,but i,m not sure if they got married in glasgow or here in birkenhead wirral i would be really obliged if someone could help me with the scottish records or how to get info for my self i need the marriage certificate to try to trace my ancestors on my father,s side for my family tree pleeese help me |
