Hi Lianne,

I'm afraid I cannot be sure as he could have registered children in either name

On the Birth Certificate in 1911 she is actually down as Rachel Edwards formerly Plunkett - Even though she didn't actually become Rachel Plunket until 1927 when she married for the second time.

Technically she should have still been Rachel Dayer! On her marriage cert to Arthur Edwards in 1927 she is down as Rachel Dayer, a widow!.

Forgot to mention - I have already looked up the address where arthur was born (160 strand road bootle) on the 1911 cenus (only a month prior to his birth) - but no sign of them, the family living there are the Jacksons!! I have looked for Rachel and Arthur seperately but no look so far.

thanks
Lianne

Hi Lianne,

On Arthur's birth certificate does Rachel's name show as Plunkett or Dayer?

If you need any help in finding lost ancestors, please let me help.
I have access to all records and will do what I can for you. Just give me as much info as you can and I'll get back to you asap.

Once again my previous thread has been deleted by genes. I hope you can all still find me. Over 1,000 messages gone!!

I do not have Scottish or Irish BMD records I'm afraid. Nor Australian or USA now as too expensive for the amount of queries received.

Could I just point out that it would be appreciated by everyone if you do not ask questions on my post and then post another message on boards as it is a waste of generous peoples time, thank you

Regards Jackie
