Before 1837 it is a case of parish registers and re Duncan Carlisle, did you mean born 1820 or married then?

Hi Jaqueline thanks for the offer .I have been looking for the second marriage of Frankish Thompson dob 1855 his first wife Mary Allison dob 1856 died in 1882 aged 26 they lived in east yorkshire ( lissett ) .

Could i possibly ask for the 1891 census: I have found the marriage of Adelaide Brown Howell in 1883 Poplar to either Charles Herbert Morritt or Thomas Clewer, and have tried to decipher who her husband is by entering the names Adelaide Clewer / Adelaide Morritt in to the 1901 census but have had no luck....would you be able to find her in the 1891 census?
