Military Records of George and Charles Crain

I've been searching the National Archives and can't find the army records of George Crain, who was born in Birmingham around 1790 and his son Charles who was born in Birmingham around 1820. I know George was a soldier because of the Marriage Certificate of his daughter in 1854.

On the 1851 census Charles aged 30 is down as a Chelsea Pensioner. I'd like to find more about these, where they served etc. and why Charles was granted a pension at the age of 30

I'd be grateful for any help
