Member Since: April 2005 Posts: 27 Send Message	I am trying to find more information about Francis (also known as Frank) Armour . He was born in Glasgow, (probably Possilpark), the son of John Armour, a moulder in the ironworks. Frank married Vina Williams in the Wirral, Cheshire, in !948. Three or four years later he returned to Glasgow when the marriage broke down, and he is said to have died shortly after that. There was a daughter from the marriage and she is desperate to find out what happened to her father.I have searched for a death on Scotland's People but without success. I have started looking at the English death indexes year by year in case he did not return to Scotland as supposed, but it will take some time to go through them all.The only record we have is the marriage certificate, and I have also found a possible birth in Glasgow. I am posting this in the hope that someone may have known the family, and can cast some light on this mystery. Can anyone suggest where I can go from here to help my friend find out what happened to her father?
