Hello
Is there anyone who can help me with Irish records, this is my last ditch attempt to find any info on my grandfather.I don't know where else to look or how!! I have been told he was born in Ireland but i'm not even 100% sure now ! Apparantly the story is he came over on the tatty boat?? I have no idea of where in Ireland he was born . So you see its like looking for the elusive needle in a haystack.

His name was John Hogan b. 1889, he died in Redcar 4/1/58

His father's name was Daniel (according to his marriage cert. to Gertrude Sowden 6/4/1918)

Thank you, any help will be much appreciated. Sue
