My Grandfather George MORRIS had a brother William Morris. Their father William was from Stannington South Yorkshre and wed a London Girl called Eliza PEGRAM. They moved back to Stannington where Wm was born in 1890.Then back to London where George was born in 1893. I have been trying to trace William and have not had much luck. I have tried WW1 deaths (His father was a Soldier died in service in India). I did find a Wm Morris shipped to Canada in 1901 through Middlemore homes in Birmingham, with British Homes Kids but the birthdate was a year out. I have also tried BMD there are too many and the info is vague. I also checked the1911 Census. Unless I have missed something he seems to have just disappeared. Does anyone have a William in their tree, who may fit the description? Did he marry one of your ancestors. Many thanks if you are able to help.
