Hi. Am trying to find out who Elizabeth Murphy was born...
Through 1881 census, she was a widower living at 95 Opie Street, Liverpool.
1891 census, she is now married to a John Crook I believe.
She was born in Liverpool 1843/44 but to whom?
Am living in Joburg at present, so a bit difficult to run up to Lancashire and check the records myself.
I notice that in the 1891 census she had a visitor, one Ellen Evans, I ws wondering if this might be a sister....there is record of an Elizabeth Evans marrying a Murphy (dates seem to match but don't want to guess. Any clues greatly appreciated.
