I did earlier today and I think I looked at it before....It does not say Robert Macleod on that incoming passenger list...It say Major Macleod so how do we know his name is Robert and how to find out if it is,or what Regiment that person was in as all it says is Military.....I am not poo pooing the idea it may be Dianes father,but how does one prove it?Beyond my little skill that one is... |

Maybe give or take a few years with Diane, but I know that up until 1952 when she died she was having her monthly periods. |

Hi Jan, I am now cross-eyed going through that link. I googled Gravir which is where 'Diane' is under and it's really interesting.....occupants of the various crofts but, for the life of me, I couldn't find a Diane. I did, however, find a Duncanina.......arghhh. |

As well as insisting Leslie was spelled that way she insisted that she was Mac and not Mc Leod.. |
