well i thought evelyn may have done it before ,as i did suggest that she write to the tarabat minister back in december.
wonder if he is of the same macleod family and a descendant of donald and kate!
would have thought so somehow.
mind you i suggested a lot of things and maybe that was missed.

I did send an E Mail to Rev John Macleod but have never received a reply
perhaps he is very busy

This evening I found Ishbels marriage(I am learning,you said I would)
and found it very interesting that her husband harolds father was also a man of the cloth,Ever since I was a little girl I have been fascinated with Ishbel now I am learning quite a lot about her, thanks to you I know she seems to have lived an interesting life, when she married she was a deeds analyst,thank you for your inerest

only problem with ishbel is she does not appear to have any children
,well not that i can find for you to try and trace
,that may have been able to help

but if you send for her death certificate it may give you a lead on other family members that may be able to help.
been looking for barabel macleod marriage but no luck,did see the birth though,so it is a proper name,,barabel,,poor child!
will look again soon for some of the others and try to find kids for them.
no promises on finding them though as they have much more common names
and i have never recieved messages back from anyone i sent messages to through ancestry.sorry.

one last thing before i go

if i were you i would keep sending emails to the, john macleod minister man, and also write letters to him at least once a week until you get a reply,
even if its a slightly rude one,
as i think a "man of the cloth" as you call them should at least have the decency to acknowledge your questions!
how busy have you got to be as a minister not to send an email in all this time??
and anyway i thought they had assistance with things like that.

Laying in bed last night not able to sleep and had a thought, maybe Robert and Donald were not brothers perhaps 2 Macleods married and it could be that Donald and Dianes mother were brother and sister, this causes another problem as I have no idea what my grandmothers name was.
Donald and Kates son Hector Ian Macleod died in 1916 in France (army)..
I have been reading The History of Wentworth House and it states that Kate and Donald had eleven children so there is one that we have no name for, or could the other one be Diane?, the plot thickens.
