Apologies, if I am repeating, but I have managed to put the 1st Battallion Seaforth highlanders in India in 1911 by searching Seaforth highlanders durbar coronation. Not sure where this gets us, but they were there during Diane's early years |

I've looked at the Delhi Durbar ages ago - nothing found, as nothing has ever been found for an officer of that name in Seaforth Highlanders |

There's a Will for a Sir Norman Cranstoun Macleod, knight, who died in Surrey in 1945, aged 78. Probate granted to Margaret Macleod, spinster. This might be the Margaret mentioned above, bapt Feb 1906 |
