Most of my ancesters settled in Newcastle upon tyne around and before 1881 but were I'm stuck,Is most of the census for the place of birth is Just " Ireland",
It would be assumed that most Irish stay in the Liverpool area,
but for my McCoys there had to be some reason they were attracted to Newcastle or the North east????
