Looking for my Grandfather Joseph Curran who emigrated to Montreal in 1914. He was a bricklayer, born in Liverpool 7/11/1882. Married Martha Ellen Jenkins in Liverpool in 1911. Martha went with him to Canada but returned to England without him in 1919 bringing my 2yr old mother (Dorothea May Curran ) with her. On ship's passenger list she is recorded as still being a wife. Joseph still showing in Toronto 1920 and 1921, then I cannot find any frace of him in either Canada or England. . Did he remarry or die in Canada ?? Would love to know what happened to him. Any news at all would be much appreciated. |
