Reynolds, born around 1900, Desperately trying to find any information on the above. Seem to know so much and yet so little regarding Laurie's family. I am making this appeal on behalf of friend who is trying to learn about his birth father and family.

Laurie was active in the British Legion Yelverton branch and may have gone to Ireland following his retirement in the 60's where he inherited some property. Manager of a retirement home in the Plymouth area Maristow House, between Plymouth and Yelverton. Other possible clues are:
served in the Royal Flying Corps during WW1, followed by time in the police service in Borneo where he became Commissioner of Police. May have then moved to South Africa where he had a wife and 2 sons possibly they both played rugby for South Africa. Returned to UK at start of World War 2 and joined the RAF became a station commander.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
