My Uncle William George Lamport arrived in Sydney on the 20th Oct 1928 aboard the SS Beltana he was aged 15 he was one of the Dreadnought boys.I have learnt today that he and another boy Charles Ward were then given train tickets to Glen Innes a government farm and then Williams first farm placement was with a Mr Abernethy on a property called Glendower in Urbenville that is where the information ends.I cannot find where he went from there I don't know if he married or where he died has anyone any suggestions as to where i can look next for information.
