Hi I am trying to find out the ship my father was on he did tell me before he died what boat he was on and i cannot find out his name is ronald harry stephen hall he was born in 1924 he was in the royal navy and i think he went from somewhere in scotland called rosthye in the 2nd war please can you give me any leads as i am stuck i understand from my late mother he was a stoker |

Thank you everyone for showing interest. I am trying to find more info for all these people. PLEASE do not loose interest in trying to help me with this. The services connection is strong through the Ford side of the family and continues through to the present generation. In fact one son has been under fire this year and this certaimly heightens ones awareness. As the all the people are deceased and so are most of their families there are few pwople in the family to ask for info! |

You can access Army WW1 on Ancestry, WW2 is by application unless a death during this war. |
