I seem to have hit a brickwall with my Smiths and was hoping someone may be able to help me with a lead. I have got back to James Smith c1780 Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, but have no idea of any parents or siblings. He married Sarah (surname unknown). They had a son, also James (of course!) c1799 Walton-on-Thames. He first married Fanny Wish c1804, Chertsey, then Emma (unknown surname) with whom he had two children, Emma 1830 Walton-on-Thames and my GGGrandfather, James (so many of them in my tree!) 1834 Walton-on-Thames. |
