Dear Andrea,
I don't know if you can help where others have unfortunately failed..?

I am, descended from PATRICK MADDEN - my x 5 grandfather. I know only that he was an Irish Catholic immigrant from Limerick.

He appears on the 1841 census - married to Johanna Madden (ne; MARRA).... living in Marylebone, London.

do you think you might be able to help me at all?
many thanks and best wishes
Debra xxx

Hi Leanne
The births only begin from 1856 but there seems to be a lot of 'Fagans' in Kilkeel - so that could be a start.I would try looking at the 1851 census fragments - good luck :)
