i wondred if you could help me?ive been trying to find out teh names of george montgomery 1815,county fermanagh ireland parents and siblings and also those of his wife elizabeth montgomery,also from fermanagh ireand.thankyou

I am wondering if you could please find any information on my ancestors - I know very little and don't know where to start looking.

Samuel MacMurray born ? c1830 died c1878 (I haven't found this info, it has been given to me by one of their children's descendants)
married Marie Wilson born approx 1830. Don't know where.

First child (that we know of) William born 1852 in Canada - Samuel there with British armed forces. William died c1900.
George born 1855 County Donegal died NZ 1941. Was an Archdeacon trained at Trinity College. I have his death cert.
Susan born 1857 County Donegal died 1937 NZ.
Marie born 1862 County Donegal died Australia 1888. I have her death cert.

I know this isn't much to go on but it is all I have. I would be most appreciative of any help you can give me. I would especially like the marriage details for Samuel and Marie. Sometimes they are under McMurray as you can imagine.

Am trying to locate the birth/family of my grandfather Hugh McGuinness born 1897.
The only details I have is that his father is stated as Patrick McGuinness (dec'd miner) on marriage cert to my grandmother in 1933 in London.

Thank you for the kind offer. I'm looking for a marriage for Hugh Kernaghan and Isabelle/Isabella. I believe they came from Belfast and they had a son also called Hugh that my aunt remembers from about 1940 but not sure when he might have been born. Any help appreciated.

Hi Andrea, thanks so much for the offer. I am after both a marriage and a birth if possible. Mary Shea was born in Co Tipperary to Edward Shea and Ann Davis. Now, mary was married at some point to a Mr Gallagher, as when she remarries in 1877, that is her other name. Unfortunately all the marriage cert gives is her name and place of birth, no ages for her or the groom. I'm assuming that as she is a widow, she has to have been born around 1830-1840, which would also give her parents marriage around that time. Thanks for anything you can find, regards Linda :)

Birth Eliza Jane CROMPTON c1884 in Castlederg, Co Tyrone, father James

I have Andrew & Eliza Jane's marriage (1909 in Strabane). But if you can confirm births of their chn it would be brilliant (Wm Jas 1909; May 1911; Sadie c1912; Bessie c1914; Andrew French c1915.)

I have checked all records online under her name both for england and scotland. iwould be grateful if you could check if it might be IRELAND. all i know is her death was post 1934.
