Thomas William Bowles was born 15th March 1838 in Ninfield, Sussex. I have his marriage certificate and have found him in all the census records up to and including 1911 living in Eastbourne. His wife Jane died in Eastbourne in 1922.
I have had great difficulty finding his death. I came across a record of a Thomas W Bowles death in the 1st Qtr of 1921 in Eastbourne and stated age was 53. Now this is a long shot could they have got his age wrong because he would have been 83. This is the only Thomas W Bowles I can find in Eastbourne.

Any help or suggestions on this would be appreciated.
