Is anyone researching the above couple's descendants? John died before 1841 Census and I think Constantia may have died 1854. I also think I found her on 1851 census living apart from her family. My grandchildren are descended from Matthew Watson THOMAS possibly the eldest son of John & Constantia. They also had another son William. Matthew 1809-1878 was a Silk Broker in and around Islington & Walthamstow according to census returns. Matthew married Elizabeth CLARE in 1843 and they had at least 5 children including another Matthew Watson THOMAS b. 1851 who is of greatest interest to me. I have only just started researching this line and would love to make contact with any researching 'cousins' out there. |
