Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 57 Send Message	I have exhausted all avenues in searching for my grt grt grandfather a William Holloway who was born around 1839 in Adforton. Things I know: Parents - William & Mary Holloway Siblings - Eliza (1841) & George (1847) Wife - Ann Brees (Breeze/Breez) Married - in Clun on 29 Jan 1866 1841 - 1871 Census lived in Adforton 1881 & 1891 Census lived in Bucknell Died - 28 May 1893 in Bucknell Children - 11 - Sarah Ann, Ann, George, Elizabeth, Ellen, William, John, Edwin, Lily, James & Thomas all born between 1865 - 86 around Adforton What I cannot find is a birth/christening notice for William around 1839 in Adforton/Knighton/. I have purchased his sister's (Eliza Holloway) birth certificate dated the 21 Oct 1841 in Adforton in the Parish of Leintwardine and states parents names (William & Mary Holloway) but no maiden name for the mother, the birth was registered in Knighton. Could anyone help in finding the last piece of the puzzle. Many thanks Jayne
