Get back to me once you have the marriage certificate and we'll see if we can trace the right family for you :-)

Hi Lewella
Have ordered the marriage certificate already. Can't believe it onlt cost 7pounds. The site i was looking at was going to cost 23pounds for the same service, and they wanted exact date. So thank you once again. I just have to be patient now and wait for the certificate to arrive. I'm sure the death notice is right because he was living with my mum and dad at the time. I have no idea about siblings so the census info will give me something to work on. Thank you so much

The first step is that marriage certificate, as it will give you his father's details.

This one is a possible, but it's only a guess

Hi there. Thanks for getting back to me
It is him, and his ancestors that i am interested in. Although i lived with him for many years it never occured to me to ask questions. Now that my mother and father and both grand parents are all dead i have no one to ask, and i now want to know about there past .
I tried to order marriage certificate but was unable to do so because i dont have any dates. Except that it was 1916.
As far as i can work out Henry died about 1978, definatly in Swindon, Wilts.
He was born in London somewhere not sure if it was Woolwich.
I now live in australia and not sure how to find these things out.

Are you trying to trace his ancestors or living relatives?

Do you have his marriage cert info?

Any info would be greatly appeciated. I think he was born around 1885. he married Amy Blanche Downing in Woolwich in 1916. They moved to Bristol at some stage, where my grand mother died. Henry died in Swindon. Does any one know of him please.
