Margaret McConnachie, c1835

I am looking for information of the above Margaret McConnachie. She was born in Aberdeen in 1835. Her parents were Fergus McConnachie and Jane Pirrie. On the census report it shows that Margaret may have been in Perth Prison for some time in 1861. She married James McAllister/McAlister in 1869 in Montrose. They had 3 childre, Mary Ellen, c1869, James c1871 and Maggie c1872, There also showed another child Jane McGrath or McGarth who is shown as stepchild. I can find no trace of a marriage before this for Margaret. |
