McConville Acheson Family

Trying to find information about the family of John McConville. John was born in 1920 in Collinward Northern Ireland as John Acheson and his name was later changed to John McConville so I am assuming that he was adopted. On his birth certificate his mother was Maggie Acheson but there is no record of the father.

John married Celia Ann (known as Ann) Ward in the1940's and had a son and a dauughter.

He left Ann around 1960 and moved to Manchester. The reason he moved to Manchester is unknown but it is believed that my mum Sally Kearney followed him to Manchester around the same time.

Any help from anyone about the Acheson's, Ward's, McConville's and the Kearney's would be greatly appreciated
