Member Since: July 2007 Posts: 17 Send Message	I am trying to trace the descendants of Michael Griffin (d. 11 Oct 1878 - Faughert, nr Dundalk, Co Louth) and Anne Murphy (b. c1843 Upper Creggan Parish, Co Armagh). Their children were John (b. c1863), Rose (c1864), Sarah (1865-1964), Patrick (c1867), Michael (aka "The Doctor", c1871), Collette (c1873) and my grandfather Joseph (1878-1941). I believe they were all born in Cregganbane, nr Crossmaglen, Co Armagh. Rose married Paddy Duffy and had at least 4 children. I believe they lived in Dundalk, Co Louth. Sarah married in to the Conlon family of Drummuck, nr Crossmaglen and had at least 8 children. She died in Jan 1964 aged 98. My grandfather Joseph married Bridget Begley and lived in Liverpool for a number of years before returning to Cregganbane in about 1916. They had 6 children - 4 born in Liverpool and 2 in Cregganbane one of whom is my father Michael (b.1921). I know little or nothing about the rest. I believe John, Michael and Collette emigrated to Liverpool and have descendants in the Merseyside/Lancashire area. Collette married a man named Walter Johnson and lived in Garstang. Michael definitely moved to Liverpool and I strongly suspect John did too. I know nothing about Patrick. It is these 4 relations whose descendants I most want to trace. Can anyone help?
