Hi just looking for any info re Braceborough/North Witham/Coleby Lincs Russells. Samuel Russell was baptised at Braceborough, Lincs 03/08/1766, he married Sussanah Hardy at North Witham in 1795. They had a son William [born 1819 North Witham] he married Alice Burton at North Witham in 1840. William and Alice had a son William [born North Witham 1843]. This William married Sarah Jane Haughton/Horton at Coleby in 1868. Quite a lot of the Russell family moved to Rotherham, South Yorkshire around this time. William and Sarah Janes daughter Annie [my ggreat grandmother was born in Rotherham in 1877. If any of this rings any bells drop me a line. |
