Hi I am trying to find out what happened to Ann Canning [my great great grandmother] born Kilkenny County Waterford Ireland around 1848. Father Thomas Canning. Silk and Ryan are also family names. She married J F Skram in Vic. and had 3 children. No divorice listed. She remarried as a spinister in 1896 to a Fred Lennon born Althone Ireland c 1842 occupation publican Bendigo. She died the same year- when she died her previous marriage and children are listed on the death certificate by Fred. Trying to find out what happened to her between 1875 and 1896.In 1892 she applied for a publicans licence for the Queens Head in Lockwood Vic but withdrew the application. Can ANYONE out there help me? Cheers Linda |
