G'day again and very funny Ann ... Frederic is Eric and Eric is Frederic. Real name is Frederic (family name handed down and only get called that when I have been "really bad") Eric is what everyone else knows me as. |

another thing - if I find something really good, I sometimes can't wait for them to come back so pm them to tell them it's there - big kid at heart see!!! |

I suppose when you know how to do something it's easy to forget that others don't |

I left information on a thread a few days ago ad noticed that the person hadn't been back. I sent a personal mail and told them how to get back to the thread. |

of course you must nudge your threads up - no one will mind - it's much better than starting a new one - now come on - start nudging - one, two, three - nudge!!!! |

I agree with you. All the work you put in to find details for us is great. Some of us are not able to find our threads again as we are getting a bit older. I didn't know you could go to the yellow bit on the left to find your threads. I too always reply to those who have looked up for me as it is so special to me to find where I came from as I didn't know anything about my fathers side of the family. Thanks to everyone who helps in our search. |

Seems to me that so many people are posting requests and then never ever return to the thread to see what has been found - if this is because you cannot find it again, just go into the yellow box on the left of this page and click on My Threads - it;s a bit disheartening to find information that someone is looking for - desperately in some cases it seems - and then you notice that they haven't gone back to see what has been found. |
