Elizabeth Keen that I seek would have had a birth c1840 give or take a few years as her first son Alfred Clarence was born 1862 but thanks again |

Thanks for the response - he may well have been in the army as it is known he went to India as a Medical Officer and I'm guessing from his age and occupation this would have been in the late 1850s possibly around the time of the Indian Mutiny when reinforcements were sent over. His first son that I can find was born 1862 hence the c1860 marriage. |

I'm looking for a marriage in India c1860 between Thomas Baron born December 1837 in Chorlton on Medlock, Manchester, parents Thomas and Hannah, and Elizabeth Keen born in India of unknown Irish parents. Have tried BL IO records and GRO chaplains returns to no avail. |
