I am looking for Mary Ellen McManus my gr grandmother. Mary married Michael PURDY June 28 1918 in Clones County Monaghan. Her residence at the time of marriage was : Annalore Street, CLONES. Her age was recorded as 20 years. Apparently her mother died at her birth or just after and she was raised by an aunt. The General Registers Office - Dublin have no entry relating to a birth of Mary Ellen McManus 1895-1900. Her father was Charles McManus a tin smith. Her and Michael moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland. Mary died July 3 1974 Aged 76 years. |
