Dublin AA patrol man

I am trying to find any relations of Daniel Woodcock who was last heard of in Dublin around 1926 working as an AA patrol man.
He married Sarah Barker and they had a child but sadly Sarah died in childbirth.
The child, a boy named William Thomas was adopted by Sarahs brother and his wife who moved to Yorkshire when the baby was very young.
I dont know Daniels age at the time but this was there first child so i am guessing he would of been in his 20s.
The relationship to me is the baby was my dad who died recently aged 81.
I am guessing that maybe Daniel remarried and had other children and as my dad never had any news or contact I thought i might try on his behalf.
Any info would be most welcome and discretion would be respected.
